Pastor Brian Adams

I grew up in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1980, I pursued my studies for the pastoral ministry at Northwestern College in Watertown, where I graduated in 1984. I then continued my education at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.

During my Seminary training, I served a "vicar" year at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. My studies included the original languages of the Bible, Bible history, doctrines of the Bible, sermon preparation, and counseling. I graduated in 1988 with a Master of Divinity degree.

Upon graduating in 1988, I was assigned to serve a mission congregation in Keystone Heights, Florida. After nearly 6 and a half years there, I accepted a Divine Call in November 1994 to become the associate pastor at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Franklin. I have been serving at St. Paul's for 30 years.

In 1986, I married my wife, Nancy. We have been blessed with three children: Rachel, Joshua, and Katie. Rachel is married to Caleb Manske, and they have three children: Lily, Noah, and Ella. They live in New Berlin. Katie is married to Caleb Nitz, and they have two children: Henry and Mia. They live in New Berlin. Joshua is married to Leah Schlecht. They live in San Jose, California and have two children: Chase and Grace.

I enjoy working outdoors and traveling. I am excited about the many new opportunities the Lord has been providing for St. Paul's in the Franklin area.
