Hello, my name is Kristine Riel.  I grew up just south of here in Kenosha,WI where I attended Bethany Lutheran Grade School and Shoreland Lutheran High.  In 1987 I graduated from Martin Luther College with a degree in elementary education. My husband Mark and I are blessed with one son, Nathan, who attended St.Paul’s and WLHS..

I have had the privilege of teaching primary grades for 20 years.  Eight of those years were spent at St. Philip’s in Milwaukee teaching grades 1-2 and two years teaching grades 3-4 at Peace in Green Lake, WI. During those years I also served as an organist and coach. These past 10 years I have served as a primary grade teacher here at St. Paul's and am currently serving as the 1st and 2nd grade teacher.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to guide our students in their educational development. However, what I love most about teaching is being able to help them grow in their faith and love for Jesus.
